Troop 2 offers super breakfast for Super Bowl Sunday
Submitted by Boy Scout Troop 2
It’s time for Boy Scout Troop 2’s annual all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Start your Super-Bowl Sunday with a Super breakfast! You won’t need another bite until the big game.
The menu includes pancake, sausage, a variety of eggs, French toast, fry bread, and toast, as well as two juices, coffee, tea and milk.
The event will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 115 N. Spring St., Elgin. Tickets are $6 for an individual, $5 for those age 60 and older. Cost for immediate families is $20. Kids under age 5 eat free. Tickets are available at the door. Proceeds will be used to recharter the troop and fund camping and program events.
Troop 2 provides scouting experiences for boys not only from Elgin, but many surrounding communities, with weekly meetings, monthly campouts, opportunities for trips to summer camps and other high adventure trips. The troop donates more than 2,000 hours annually to service projects, Eagle projects and other activities in the greater Elgin area. For information, visit www.troop2.com.
