Ex-custodian charged with child porn over camera
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A former custodian accused of planting a video camera in a northern Indiana high school’s locker room has pleaded not guilty to federal child pornography charges.
The federal indictment brings new charges against 53-year-old Robert Troup of Mishawaka. St. Joseph County prosecutors filed felony voyeurism charges against him in December over the camera that Penn High School boys swim team members found in their locker room at the Mishawaka school.
WSBT-TV reports federal prosecutors told a judge Wednesday that the camera captured 20 videos showing 43 naked males in the locker room. All but one of them were younger than 18.
The judge ordered Troup held without bond on the federal charges.
