RoundTable named CEO of new development venture

LAKE FOREST — RoundTable Healthcare Partners a private equity firm focused exclusively on the health care industry, said Kent J. Davies has been appointed CEO of the newly formed ARoundTable III Platform Development Corporation.

Davies will focus his attention on the identification and development of new investment opportunities in the medical device market. RoundTable has committed to support these new opportunities with the full resources of the firm including substantial investment capital.

Davies brings nearly 25 years of operating, general management, and senior leadership experience to RoundTable, having served in executive roles with name-brand health care companies such as 3M and Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Davies has also held a series of transactional and transformational leadership roles with rapidly growing businesses in the middle-market private equity and restructuring industries. While serving as CEO of Gaymar Industries, Davies led the revitalization, performance recovery, and the l sale of the company to Stryker Corporation. He also played an important role in the sale of SterilMed Inc. to Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery.
