Improv Playhouse Showstoppers to perform ‘Annie’

The Broadway classic, “Annie,” an Improv Playhouse Showstoppers production, will be staged Thursday, March 15, to Sunday, March 18, at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center, 2007 Civic Center Way.

The upbeat plot and flamboyant characters — the outrageous Miss Hannigan and the lovable mutt named Sandy — features a cast of 32 third- through ninth-graders from around Lake County.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets cost $12 for adults; $8 for students, seniors and military; and $5 for current IP students. Nonprofit group are rates available.
