Find your favorite medium at Huntley Artfest

Huntley Artfest, a celebration of art, food and music, will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, in downtown Huntley, Church and Main streets. Admission is free.

It is a juried art fair featuring 45-plus artists from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Missouri and Indiana. The show will feature ceramics, drawing, fiber nonfunctional, fiber wearable, paper nonfunctional, glass, jewelry, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, wood sculpture, mixed media, photography, printmaking, creative writing, and furniture, designed and crafted by the artist.

In addition to the art and entertainment, the food concessions will feature Culver’s Tasty Treats, Subway sandwiches, funnel cakes, tacos, gyros, chicken, pitas, sausages, kebabs, Philly cheesesteak, seafood, quesadillas, Greek salads, and more.

First Congregational Church of Huntley United Church of Christ is the sponsor of Huntley Artfest.
