Forint extends biggest daily decline in month

The forint extended its decline, heading for the biggest one-day loss in more than a month and the koruna slid.

Hungary's currency fell 1.2 percent to 294.7 per euro by 1:27 p.m. in Budapest, the biggest daily depreciation since Jan. 4. The koruna weakened 1.1 percent to 25.353 against the European common currency.
