Web surfers can track Ind. police cadets online
PLAINFIELD, Ind. — Hoosiers can follow the latest class of Indiana State Police recruits through 24 weeks at the academy in Plainfield through social media.
State police are posting weekly photo updates of the cadets’ training on Twitter and Facebook. The class began Oct. 2 and is scheduled to graduate on March 16.
The cadets will help fill vacant trooper positions statewide and will receive extensive training in firearms, traffic and criminal laws, self-defense, human relations, crash investigation, criminal investigations, crime scene processing, traffic direction and alcohol detection.
