Woman dies in one-car crash in Aurora

A woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when she apparently lost control of her car, which crossed the median, struck two trees and then rolled over at Liberty Street and Enterprise Drive on Aurora’s far east side, authorities said.

The victim has been identified as Jessica Glover, 26, of North Aurora.

Aurora police said it appears that Glover was traveling west on Liberty about 4 p.m. in a Pontiac G-6 sedan, possibly at a high rate of speed, when the vehicle left the road.

Police said Glover, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was alone in the car.

An autopsy with the DuPage County coroner’s office is pending.

Liberty is still closed between Eola Road and Commons Drive while police investigate.
