Elgin’s Sherman Auxiliary to host benefit gala March 3
The 48th annual Sherman Hospital Auxiliary Benefit Gala, “Masquerade Ball,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg. Proceeds from the event will support the auxiliary’s philanthropic efforts for Sherman Hospital.
The gala will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and dancing to the music of The Al Sofia Orchestra.
The event is black-tie optional and guests are encouraged to wear masquerade ball masks, available for purchase in the Tree House Gift Shop at Sherman Hospital.
During the gala, the auxiliary will honor Dr. T.I.M. Zahur Hossain for providing medical care to the community for 35 years, and Carol Graeff for devoting 41 years of support to Sherman Hospital and other community organizations.
Raffle tickets, which are available for purchase in the Tree House Gift Shop and foundation office at Sherman Hospital or at the gala, are $25 each or five for $100. The raffle will feature 12 prizes, and there will be a few additional surprises at the gala. Purchasers may select which prize or prizes they would like to have a chance to win.
Gala reservations are $175 per person. To make a reservation and for more information about the gala, call (224) 783-2500 or visit www.ShermanHealthFoundation.com and click on the “Auxiliary” link.
