LZ students honored for writing:

Three seventh-grade students at Lake Zurich Middle School North were recognized in the 2012 Scholastic Writing Competition, school officials announced. Kyle Fleming was awarded a silver key for his science fiction short story “Flower of Power”. Kiersten McDevitt was awarded a silver key for her short story “An Experience of a Lifetime”. She also received an honorable mention for her narrative essay “The Race”. Natalie Ullman received an honorable mention for her short story “Price”.
