Grace period voter registration:

Grace period registration is now available to Lake County residents who need to register to vote for the March 20 Primary Election. This registration is available only at the County Clerk’s office, 18 N. County St., Waukegan, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through the close of business on March 13. Registering under grace provisions allows county residents to register for the first time or update a new address in Lake County. New registrants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days before Election Day, 18 years old on or before the election, and are required to provide two forms of identification.
