St Edward plans dinner-dance

St. Edward Central Catholic High School in Elgin will host its 23rd annual Tidal Wave Auction Dinner/Dance Saturday, April 14, at the Stonegate Centre in Hoffman Estates.

The theme for this year’s gala event is “Springtime in Paris.” All parents, alumni, family and friends are invited to attend. Cost is $100 per person which includes a gourmet dinner, open bar, DJ, dancing, and both silent and live auctions. Items up for bid will include vacation stays, sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, etc. The featured raffle prize is a trip for two to Paris. This year’s honorary chairman is Elgin Mayor David Kaptain.
