College basketball: Iowa at Northwestern

Skinny: Northwestern enters the week on a roll after back-to-back wins over Nebraska and Illinois. They go for three in a row Thursday against an Iowa squad which has also won two straight, including a 77-64 win at home over Penn State.

In their 74-70 victory at Illinois on Sunday. John Shurna led NU with a game-high 24 points against the Illini,while Reggie Hearn contributed a career-high 20 points.

Thursday's meeting features the two Big Ten Co-Players of the Week. NU point guard Dave Sobolewski averaged 14.5 points per game in the Wildcats' two wins, while Iowa forward Aaron White averaged 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in his last two contests.

Next: The Wildcats travel to Purdue on Sunday for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
