Chicago Express falls to Florida Everblades

ESTERO, Fla. — For the second straight night, the Chicago Express fell to the Florida Everblades, dropping a 4-2 decision at the Germain Arena on Friday night.

The Express trailed 2-0 in the second period when Drew Akins scored at 6:21. After another Everblades goal, Chad Painchaud converted a rebound of an Evan Stephens shot to to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Peter Mannino was in goal for the Express.
