Transition your landscape

The Lake-to-Prairie Chapter of Wild Ones will discuss the transition to a native landscape at its program from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 at the Byron Colby Barn at Prairie Crossing, 1561 Jones Point Road, Grayslake. Botanist and sales consultant Kelsay Shaw of Possibility Place Nursery will lead the discussion using photos and a case study of a home in Kankakee. Topics include: envisioning the landscape you want; segmenting the plan into bite-sized pieces; and, finding sources for plants, shrubs, trees and information.
