Silence, white for Warren hoops:

Warren Township High School in Gurnee has established Friday’s boys basketball home action as a “Silent Game/Snow Out.” Officials announced they want Blue Devils fans to wear white, then remain silent during pregame introductions and after tipoff. They are asking the fans to go wild when the Blue Devils score their eighth point, as if the team won a national championship. Warren’s sophomores play the Libertyville Wildcats at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 7:30 p.m. The action will be at Warren’s upperclassmen campus, 34090 Almond Road in Gurnee.
