Elk Grove Village police seek armed robbery suspect

Elk Grove Village police are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred about 1:45 a.m. Monday at the BP gas station, 601 E. Devon Ave.

Police said the male suspect was wearing a black open face ski mask, black coat with black hoodie underneath, black gloves, black pants, and black boots. He was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighed about 180 pounds to 200 pounds and had an Eastern European accent.

The suspect displayed a black revolver, demanded money from the clerk, and then fled the store on foot heading eastbound. Anyone with information should call (847) 357-4100.
