Bow hunting cruel population control

It is very distressing that the Kane County Forest Preserve District has decided to allow the cruel bow hunting of deer in order to attempt to control their population instead of using more effective, nonlethal methods. Injured victims can often take days or weeks to die a painful death. The innocent, helpless animals will once again pay the price with their suffering and lives.
