Skinny: The Illini return home after a heart-stopping 1-point win over Northwestern, highlighted by a last-second blocked shot by Meyers Leonard. The Illini continue to fare well in tight games, sporting an 8-1 mark in contests decided by less than 10 points. Leonard has been the Illini’s leading rebounder (10.8 rpg), while Brandon Paul has scored in double figures in nine of his last 10 games. Over the last five games, he is averaging 16.4 points. The Huskers wrapped up a stretch of facing three ranked teams with a 71-40 loss at No. 6 Ohio State on Tuesday.
