Bartlett exhibit features children's artwork

Arts in Bartlett is pleased to sponsor a new exhibit, Color My World Children's Art Studio, at the village of Bartlett's 2nd floor Art Gallery, 228 Main St., Bartlett.

Enjoy a colorful sampling of student art work created during fall 2011. Student artists age range from 3-13 years old. Featured are projects from the drawing, painting, mixed media, sketching, whimsical design, color weave, and storytime paint and clay classes led by teaching artist Kathryn Benton.

The artwork is on display now through Jan. 30. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays.

The public is invited to a reception, 5:30-6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17 to visit with the young artists and instructor.
