New Arlington Heights swim school opens Oct. 26
Goldfish Swim School plans to cut the ribbon Thursday on its new 8,300-square-foot children's swim school in the Annex of Arlington shopping center in Arlington Heights.
From noon to 1:30 p.m., the public is invited to take tours of the facility and enjoy a free family swim. Another free grand opening event is planned from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, with more tours and swimming, plus a balloon artist, photo booth, raffles, and arts and crafts.
Located at 63 W. Rand Road, the swim school will offer lessons for children ages 4 months to 12 years, weekly family swims and parties. The school will have an air-conditioned viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons, family dressing area with private changing rooms, snack bar and retail shop, according to a news release.
The Arlington Heights location joins 11 other Chicago-area Goldfish schools.
