Wisc. panel to review allegation against Chadima
MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has named an independent panel to review an allegation of misconduct against a former athletic department official.
Interim Chancellor David Ward said Monday that retired Dane County Circuit Judge Patrick Fiedler will head the four-member panel.
Senior associate athletic director John Chadima (CHAD’-uh-muh) was placed on administrative leave Friday after an allegation of misconduct was brought forward to university officials. Chadima resigned later that day.
A university official declined Monday to discuss the nature of the allegation against Chadima. No criminal charges have been filed.
Chadima had worked at the school for more than 20 years. A message left at his home was not immediately returned Monday night.
