Goldman Sachs gets Thornburg mortgage suit moved to U.S. court

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. won a U.S. District Court judge’s consent to take over a lawsuit filed by the former Thornburg Mortgage, now called TMST, according to a court order filed yesterday. The judge said the defunct firm based its claims on state law contracts, which aren’t the province of bankruptcy courts.
