Ela Library opens digital media labs

Ela Area Public Library, 275 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich recently launched two state-of-the-art digital media labs, a pioneering community resource offering free usage of tools in digital media and technology.

The soundproof labs are fully equipped with cutting edge software and technology. Users have access to Mac Pro Desktop computers, film/photo scanners, video camcorders, microphones, tripods, digital video converters and more to create and edit videos/movies, edit photos, convert old VHS videos and print photos to digital formats, develop websites, publish blogs and create, download, burn and mix music.

Located on the second floor, labs are open during library hours to Ela cardholders for up to two hours. Users must be at least 12 years old.
