Arlington Hts. history exhibit opens Jan. 14
Come experience Arlington Heights from its humble beginnings to the thriving community that it is today.
The exhibit, “Arlington Heights: Through the Decades,” focuses on the people, places and events that have shaped the village.
The exhibition, which runs Jan. 14-Aug. 12, features photographs and artifacts from the Arlington Heights Historical Society’s collections to tell our town’s fascinating story.
Step back into time and discover the rich history of Arlington Heights. Sponsored by the Arlington Heights Junior Woman’s Club, Arlington Heights Farmers Market, and Frontier Days Inc., “Arlington Heights: Through the Decades” is in the Heritage Gallery on the Arlington Heights Historical Museum campus, 112 W. Fremont St. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
There is no admission fee for the Gallery, but a suggested $2 donation is recommended.
The Gallery specializes in local history exhibits drawn from the Historical Society’s collections and local, national and regional traveling exhibitions that explore the broader context of our history.
The Heritage Shop offers a selection of historical toys and books, along with local history memorabilia.
