Music performance at Ryerson:

Join Friends of Ryerson Woods on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for a free performance of nature-themed chamber and solo pieces from the classical repertoire. The afternoon will feature up-and-coming stars from the Academy of the Music Institute of Chicago, an elite training center for highly gifted pre-collegiate musicians. Internationally recognized faculty from the Academy will introduce the performers and offer perspective on each piece. The performance will be held at Brushwood, the historic home at Ryerson Woods, located on Riverwoods Road near Deerfield. No registration is required.
