Sale at Aurora University museum shop

Holiday shoppers can find gift ideas at the Schingoethe Center for Native American Cultures at Aurora University with a 20 percent discount on most items.

The center, in Dunham Hall at 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora, is holding an annual Yule sale to Dec. 22.

Items include books, Pendleton blanket bags, jewelry up to $225, blouses, Kokopelli bean dolls, handwoven weavings, a hand drum, Mexican tree of life clay candelabra and wall decorations including a clay Christian cross ($18.95) and a metal sun face sculpture ($36).

Shop hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday; and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. It will be closed Dec. 23-27 and Dec. 30 to Jan. 3. Visit aurora.edu/museum. The shop accepts Visa and Mastercard.
