Werfel for Lake County Board District 6

Republican incumbent Jeff Werfel, 55, is seeking a second term for the Lake County Board District 6 seat, facing off against Democrat John Wasik, 61. Both are fine choices. Wasik, co-founder of non-partisan Citizens Action Project, works for property tax relief. We hope his efforts continue. We feel Werfel has an edge because of 11 years serving as a Grayslake trustee and his recent work on the board and forest preserve. Werfel is endorsed.
