Lakes loses; Antioch falls twice
In MLK tournament action in Galesburg on Monday, Lakes (7-12) dropped a 70-43 decision to the hosts.
Tyler Swindle led the Eagles with 14 points, and John Androus had 10 to make him the second all-time leading scorer at Lakes with 1,105 points; Sean Hertz holds the record at 1,289.
Antioch at Rockton Hononegah: In MLK play at Rockton Hononegah on Monday, Antioch dropped a pair.
In a 60-45 loss to Normal, sophomore Karl Nettgen had a team-best 10 points for the Sequoits.
In a subsequent 78-50 loss to Zion-Benton, Kyle Haley had 12 points and Kyle Melton had 10.
On Saturday, the Sequoits dropped a 72-60 decision to Sterling as Melton had 21 points and Haley had 15, and they also fell to Normal West 58-30.
