Grayslake reading awards coming March 15

Students at Frederick School in Grayslake will conclude this year’s Rebecca Caudill Young Readers’ Book Award program with a celebration on Tuesday, March 15. The after-school gathering will be for all pupils who read 10 or more of this year’s Caudill nominees and voted for their favorite book. There also will be an announcement with the Frederick students’ choices for their favorite Caudill nominee and the winner for the state of Illinois at the celebration. The prize is named in honor of Rebecca Caudill, who lived and wrote in Urbana for nearly 50 years.
