Police say bad checks used for hotel stay
Two Lincolnshire residents were arrested on warrants Dec. 19 after they were accused of using worthless checks to pay for a hotel stay, police said.
Jon M. Boorom, 50, and Karla M. Boorom, 49, both of the 0-100 block of Lincolnshire Drive, surrendered at the police station, authorities said.
The charges allege they used the checks for a stay in September at a hotel on the 100 block of Barclay Boulevard, police said.
