Hersey 'Love Buses' spread the love to area seniors

The "Love Bus" from Hersey High School made its annual stop at the Arlington Heights Senior Center on Thursday, the 40th year that students have been sharing their dancing, singing and cheerleading talents, as well as visiting, with local seniors.

The Senior Center stop was only one of several: other Hersey students went to the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Addolorata Villa in Wheeling, Holy Family in Des Plaines, St. Joseph's in Palatine and Church Creek, where they passed out carnations and homemade valentines and performed with spirit.
