Rutherford to discuss finances at public event in Palatine

The public is invited to hear Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford talk about financial issues pertaining to families and communities when he comes to Palatine at 11:10 a.m. Friday, June 24. The event will take place at the Palatine village hall council chambers, 200 E. Wood St. Rutherford said he’ll discuss the borrowed dollars families are committed to pay back and the continued effort to make sure Illinois is a state where job-creating businesses can flourish. Village and county officials also will be in attendance.
