Music fest in Arlington Heights runs through Saturday

A three-day music festival in a giant white tent in downtown Arlington Heights got under way on St. Patricks Day with performers such as Baal Tinne and the Shannon Rovers performing.

Peggy Kinanne’s Three-Day Music Fest will continue at 5 p.m. Friday, March 18, and 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, featuring more than a half-dozen bands, including 7th Heaven, Sister Hazel, the Neverly Brothers and .38 Special. The festival at Campbell Street and Highland Avenue marks the 10th anniversary of the Irish bar and restaurant, owner Derek Hanley said.

Tickets are $45 for Friday and $50 for Saturday, and are available at brownpapertickets.com. Food and drink are extra. The tent will hold up to 3,000 people.
