How are we better off than 3 years ago?

It is a complete mystery to me how anyone could logically support the re-election of Obama or any of the leaders of the Democratic party. During the 3-4 years that the Democratic party has been in control of the presidency the following has occurred: Unemployment is up and median household income is down, and housing values are down.

In the meanwhile, gasoline prices, clothing and food prices are up and the overall poverty level has increased, particularly among minorities.

Our national spending rate, debt and deficit have increased dramatically and for the first time in the nation’s history our credit rating has fallen and the dream of home ownership is in peril for future as well as existing generations, and our dependency on foreign oil is even greater than it was before.

On top of all that we are no safer from terrorist attacks, we are still involved in a war in Afghanistan, the situation between Israel and the Palestinians is no closer to being resolved, and we are facing ever increasing nuclear threats from North Korea and Iran.

So tell me, what has been accomplished that would warrant re-election of this administration?

Where and how are we better off now than three years ago?
