Prospect Hts. home rule meetings planned

Informational meetings about a referendum on whether Prospect Heights should become a home rule community are scheduled in the city.

The first meeting will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at City Hall, 8 N. Elmhurst Road. The second will be 1-3 p.m. March 3 at the Rob Roy Community clubhouse, 270 Country Club Drive.

Leonard Digate, a member of the city’s finance committee, said that after a short presentation most of the time will be for questions. Several city officials will attend the first meeting. Digate said he hopes more meetings can be schedules, including one in each ward.
