How should the county board enforce the budgets it sets'The county board must be firm in upholding the budgets set for each department. The county sets a dangerous precedent if it chooses to amend department budgets mid-year for no reason other than poor management.During these challenging economic times, department heads should approach each year with a finite amount to spend with little to no chance of securing more. Pending any emergency, the county should be strict in the budget it sets for each department.
