Carol Stream man faces child porn charges

A Carol Stream man faces child pornography charges as the result of a five-month investigation, authorities said Thursday.

Michael T. Hackett, 26, of the 100 block of Pebble Creek Trail, was arrested Wednesday and faces two felony charges for possession of child pornography following an investigation by Carol Stream police and the Illinois attorney general’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

He was taken to the DuPage County jail and his bail was set at $200,000.
