Lake Zurich competitive cheer team takes first
Submitted by Vickie Lehar
Lake Zurich’s Elite Sr. Level 4 Inferno competitive cheer team brought home the coveted title of National Champions from the All American Nationals, held in Orlando, Fla. More than 120 teams competed in this two-day International All Levels Championship.
“They were relentless in taking first place on day one and did not let up going into day two,” Coach Lianna DiMaso said. “This particular team has been together for many years and, at this level, it can make the difference.”
Lake Zurich’s Elite Sr. Level 3 and Jr. Level 1 teams took fourth and second, respectively, in their competitive levels. Congratulations to the coaches and girls of Lake Zurich Elite All Star Cheer on a winning 2010-11 season.
Lake Zurich Elite All Star Cheer Program is part of the nonprofit Lake Zurich Flames Organization. Lake Zurich Elite levels range from minis (5 and younger) all the way to world bound level 5.
