Barrington Hills could vote Monday on lighting law
The Barrington Hills Village Board will further discuss, and possibly take final action on, a controversial outdoor lighting ordinance on Monday night.
The ordinance would limit the type and amount of outdoor illumination village homeowners and businesses would be allowed to employ. The idea, which has divided many in the community, first was proposed before the village's zoning board of appeals October 2009.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Countryside School, 205 W. County Line Road in Barrington Hills.
