Consider environment while holiday shopping

The holiday season means lots of shopping. Please consider using reusable shopping bags while you shop.

The city of Chicago alone uses over 2,000 plastic shopping bags a minute. Worldwide we use 1 million plastic bags a minute.

Non-renewable resources are used to make these single-use disposable bags and the litter is not only an eyesore, but a danger to animals.

I bet you pass a bag or two either hanging in a tree or on the side of the road every day.

Small steps can make a difference. Please be the change in our throw-away world and bring your own bag.
