AK-47 talk just a con

The letter by Gus Gustafson, regarding the sale of AK-47s in the U.S., shows just how far the anti-gun fanatics have gone in the brainwashing of the American public. The truth is, with the exception of a few specially licensed gun collectors, the ownership of AK-47s by private citizens is already banned, as is the legal ownership of any fully automatic guns of any kind. And it has been so since the 1934 National Firearms Act.

What most people think are AK-47s are SKs, cheap, Chinese-made AK-47 look-alikes. They have neither the accuracy nor reliability of a real AK-47. And they are not fully automatic and cannot be made so. Any real AK-47s, or real assault rifles of any kind, are in the hands of the police, the military, a few criminals and terrorists - not any law-abiding citizens.

Every time I hear the anti-gun fanatics spewing hysterically about "assault rifle" bans, I have to laugh. Because I know those persons are either silly little sheep, just following along blindly, without knowing what they are talking about, or they are con artists, hoping to get those sheep to elect them to public office where they will feed out of the public trough and do nothing for or against any sort of a gun ban so that, next election, they will still have something to lead the sheep around by.

It's an old trick that every good con-artist knows - to make you look at their right hand, while they are picking your pocket with their left hand.
