Hawthorn Woods collecting toys:

The holidays will soon be here and Hawthorn Woods officials ask that you consider donating a new toy to children in need. Toys for Tots collection boxes will be located at village hall, the Hawthorn Woods Police Station, Inland Bank, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, The Goddard School, Kiddy Garden, Spencer Loomis Elementary School and Middle School North. The collection boxes will be out until Friday, Dec. 13.
