Farnham works for good schools

Since I consider the number one resource in Illinois to be an educated work force, I support Rep. Keith Farnham for the key role he played in passing Senate Bill 2499 out of the General Assembly. Education is a number one priority. With the U-46 budget experiencing substantial financial difficulties, this legislation provides millions of dollars of much needed relief and will prevent our children from experiencing a decline in the quality of education they receive.

As a concerned longtime resident living in U-46, I am grateful we have legislators like Rep. Farnham that are strong advocates for public education and willing to fight to ensure our children are properly prepared for assuming roles in our work force.

Thank you, Rep. Farnham. Now, I urge Gov. Quinn to sign this bill into law so that U-46 can begin to benefit.
