Breakfast with Santa, children’s play at Warren High
The Warren Township High School Alumni Foundation, in conjunction with the Warren Theatre, will host the annual Breakfast with Santa and Children’s Play Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Almond Campus, 34090 Almond Road, Gurnee.
The Breakfast with Santa runs from 9 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $7 for ages 11 and older, $5 for ages 3-10, and free for ages 2 and younger. Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, pancakes, and choice of juice, coffee and milk.
Children can have their picture taken with Santa for an additional $5. Warren’s Vocal Velocity will provide musical entertainment during the breakfast.
Warren’s Vocal Velocity singers are: Taylor Cygan, Shyera Earl, Stephanie Habel, Craig Hoeksema, Alexandra Hofflander, Kjersten Johnson, Brian Kim, Emily Knighton, Michael Knighton, A.J. Lingad, Diego Martin, Maya McGowan, Matthew Oye, Michael Rice, Sergio Salazar, Eric Shurson, Anna Skelton, Carla Stelsel, Brianna Tyler, and Brian Urquhart. Choir director is Natalie Colgan.
The Children’s Play is “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. Alice journeys to Wonderland and tries to help the White Rabbit find the Queen of Heart’s sugar tarts. While searching, Alice runs into the Mad Hatter, March hare, Tweedledee & Tweedledum, Caterpillar, Cheshire cat, and, of course, the Queen of Hearts.
Show times are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for school-e students.
