Extra audition added for ‘The Little Mermaid Jr.’ in St. Charles

An additional audition date has been added for Vero Voce School of Performing Arts’ third Children’s Theatre production of the season for ages 8-18. It will be the Disney musical “The Little Mermaid Jr.,” based on the book by Hans Christian Andersen. The production will be produced by Dawn Harkins, directed and choreographed by Kim Maslo, with vocal direction by Melissa Pagano-Arndt.

Young actors will be required to prepare a monologue of no more than one minute in length and one 16-bar musical theater vocal selection. Do not use music from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Bring music in your key. An accompanist will be provided, backtracks are not allowed. There will be a short dance audition as well.
