Judson offer full summer camp schedule for kids
Youth from around the area can learn from Judson University’s professional faculty and staff at a range of summer camps available at the Christian university this summer.
Architecture’s Design Discovery Workshop: Taught by faculty and recent graduates, this weeklong, residential camp is for high school students interested in learning more about majors and careers in architecture. Spend a week July 10-15 with other students from around the country getting a taste of academics, campus living, and tours of important Chicago museums and offices. Students will live on campus for a week July 10-16, experiencing art and design studios, touring Chicago firms and museums, eating in the cafeteria and sleeping in the dorms. Students will come to learn more about careers in art and design related fields. It is a great way to complement your high school curriculum and get a taste of art school. Half-day camp from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is for kindergarten through second grade students. All day camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. are for students in third through 12th grade. Each camp is designed to be an introduction to composition and music appreciation. Campers also will receive private instrument/vocal instruction and will perform in ensembles, recitals and presentations.
