Reform Medicare Advantage practices

Despite its name, “Medicare Advantage” (MA) is not an advantage for seniors and people with disabilities. It’s not even the same Medicare program that Americans have come to know and love.

Private insurance companies like Aetna and Humana spend millions on advertising to hide the ugly truth: their MA plans raid taxpayer funds and routinely fail to deliver the care that patients expect and deserve.

Here's one way these companies work: they overcharge Medicare by giving patients exaggerated or entirely false diagnoses. Several companies have been fined for this outrage.

Additionally, insurers are inappropriately denying treatments and tests that should be covered under Medicare.

Perhaps the most insidious action of all: Over 50% of Medicare beneficiaries now have for-profit corporations in charge of their care through MA. Insurance companies are paid handsomely for these plans, and much of that money goes to corporate profits instead of care. The companies running MA plans want to take over Medicare entirely, leaving you with no option but to give your money to private insurers.

Let's fight back. Don't enroll in MA plans.

Contact your congressman to have them investigate these parasite companies and reform Medicare practices NOW.
