Wheeling man gets four years for firearms charge
A 20-year-old Wheeling man was sentenced to four years in prison Tuesday in exchange for his guilty plea to aggravated discharge of a firearm earlier this year.
Prosecutors say Luis Guzman-Rivas, of the 100 block of Manchester Drive, was driving a car when his passenger shot at another car. No one was injured in the exchange, prosecutors said.
Guzman-Rivas was also ordered to pay $704 in fines. He received credit for 193 days in custody.
