What any conscientious voter in the 8th Congressional District must appreciate is Melissa Bean's true dedication and careful study of issues and legislative bills before she reaches a decision. She is not one who voices an opinion without knowing details, unlike her opponent.

Bean and her family are longtime residents of Barrington, and she has been a small-business owner within the area. She knows and understands firsthand the needs of the 8th District, unlike her opponent. That his own party doesn't offer support raises serious doubts about his qualifications and his views.

Bean has kept her focus on what best benefits her constituents, be they Democrats, Republicans or independents. Her opponent speaks only for the negative far-right.
